Long Beach, California, also known as America’s Urban Waterfront Playground, is renowned for its ideal weather, exciting attractions, gorgeous setting, trendy shopping, and delicious dining. Voted one of America’s “Most Walkable Cities,” Long Beach is tucked in along the waterfront with all the amenities of a big city while retaining small-town charm in a unique oceanfront setting.

The Marriott Long Beach Downtown is at 111 East Ocean Boulevard. Its recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a fitness center. This hotel also features restaurants, gift shops, and room service. Other amenities, specifically for NAHO conference attendees, will include a daily $15 food and beverage credit toward purchases in the hotel’s restaurant or lounge, 45-minute yoga/stretch class on the pool deck at 7:00 a.m. each day, and complimentary enhanced high-speed internet access.

The hotel is waiving the normal destination fee and is providing NAHO with a room rate of $191 per night (which is $34 under the $225 federal per diem rate for Long Beach) plus applicable taxes. The daily parking rate for NAHO conference attendees will be discounted from $45 per day to $35 per day. These special rates are available from October 22 through October 29, 2026. To receive NAHO’s special discounted rates, reservations must be received by the hotel by Thursday, September 10, 2026. In late October, you can expect pleasant, warm, mostly sunny weather with average daily high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and nightly lows in the mid to upper 50s.
