Speaker Bio
Judge Long presides over matters involving electric, gas, water, wastewater, transportation, telephone, and railroad crossings, including consumer complaints, proposed rate increases, merger and reorganization petitions, and applications to begin or cease public utility service. She previously served as counsel to the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board. She graduated magna cum laude from Widener University School of Law (now Commonwealth Law School) and clerked for a Pennsylvania intermediate appellate court. Her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Business are from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a NAHO-certified ALJ and currently serves as NAHO’s representative for the Northeast Region and as the Continuing Education Committee Chair.
