Speaker Bio
Judge Long serves Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission as an administrative law judge, presiding over matters involving public utilities, transportation, telephone, and railroad crossings. Disputes include consumer complaints, hearings on proposed rate increases, and merger and reorganization petitions. She graduated magna cum laude from the Widener University School of Law, now known as the Commonwealth Law School, in Harrisburg. She has dual degrees in Political Science and Business from the University of Pittsburgh. Judge Long became a NAHO member after attending her first conference and has been certified as an ALJ by NAHO. A longtime member, Judge Long now serves NAHO as Board Secretary.
