Speaker Bio
Mary Long is a proud magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She received an excellent education in administrative law, graduating from the Widener University School of Law, now known as Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg. Upon graduation from law school, Judge Long served the Commonwealth as an appellate clerk to the Honorable Joseph T. Doyle, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, and as counsel to the Honorable George J. Miller on the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board. In 2010, Judge Long was appointed to the Public Utility Commission as an administrative law judge, where she served until her retirement. Judge Long is certified as an Administrative Law Judge by NAHO. She currently serves on the Board of NAHO as the Secretary, as well as several NAHO committees, including the On Demand Library and Certification.
