Diane Womack currently serves as a Hearing Officer for the Birmingham City School District, presiding over disciplinary hearings for students accused of violating the district’s Student Code of Conduct at the most serious level. She previously served the Birmingham City Schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She earned her B.S. and Master’s degrees in Communicative Disorder from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She earned certification in Educational Leadership Administration and is furthering her doctoral studies at Nova Southeastern University. She is a Past President of the Alabama Association of Prevention, Attendance, and Support Services and received the 2025 Sue B. Adams Leadership Award for the State of Alabama at the Conference of the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools. She has long been an active and enthusiastic member of the National Association of Hearing Officials.
