In her dual role as Executive Director and Administrative Law Judge at the DOAH, Judge Silver oversees statewide functions including budget, purchasing, information technology, human resources, and facilities management. She also presides over administrative hearings across a wide range of subject matters.
Prior to joining the DOAH in 2022, Silver was an Attorney Supervisor and Interim Deputy General Counsel at the Florida Department of Management Services.
She is a frequent speaker on a variety of continuing legal education topics and has recently been published as the author of a chapter of the 14thedition of the Florida Administrative Practice manual. In addition, she serves on the Executive Councils of the Administrative Law Section of the Florida Bar and of the Florida Government Bar Association.
