Join your NAHO friends and colleagues at Dock 9, located at 435 Shorline Village Drive in Long Beach (outside the main entrance to Parker’s Lighthouse Restaurant) for a 2.5 hour private cruise of the sites along the Long Beach harbor. The dock is approximately 0.6 miles from the host hotel—a 13 minute walk or 3 to 5 minutes by car. See historical landmarks, wildlife, and working port sights, including the 1930s ocean liner, The Queen Mary, the colorful Shoreline Village waterfront boardwalk, the bustling Rainbow Harbor marina, the beautiful downtown skyline of Long Beach, working cargo terminals servicing massive container ships with giant cranes, and the Long Beach Breakwater protecting the bay. You’ll also see playful sea lions sunbathing and perhaps a passing dolphin, seal or whale. Other than the crew, NAHO conference attendees will be the only guests aboard, providing optimal conditions for making new friends or catching up with old acquaintances. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, white wine, soft drinks and coffee will be on hand. A cash bar will also be available for those who desire stronger libations.
