Shanon S. Levin currently serves as an Administrative Judge for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she adjudicates complaints of discrimination filed by federal employees. Prior to joining the EEOC, she heard cases of discrimination in housing, employment, education, and public accommodations for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. Before that, she led the litigation program at Disability Rights Pennsylvania, a nonprofit organization that brings civil rights cases on behalf of people with disabilities. Judge Levin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State and a law degree from Temple University School of Law. Judge Levin is a volunteer CASA (court-appointed special advocate) for dependent children and adolescents.
