Lorri Burns Bennett is the Manager of Administrative Hearings for the South Caroline Department of Corrections, where she manages and directs staff responsible for conducting hearings regarding parole violation, revocation hearings for youthful offenders, pre-sentencing evaluations, sentencing recommendations, and issuance and approval of all warrants. She has been with the Department of Corrections 13 years and previously served as Intensive Supervision Officer and Administrative Review Coordinator (Parole Hearings Official). Lorri also served as the President of South Carolina Probation and Parole Association and as Secretary for the South Carolina Correctional Association. A longtime member of NAHO, Lorri was awarded national certification as an Administrative Law Judge through NAHO in 2023. She was elected Representative for NAHO’s Southeast Region.
