Judge Collins has presided over cases as a county trial court judge for Palm Beach County in Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit for eight years. She spent decades as a prosecutor in Florida prior to taking the bench. She is widely known for her teaching and mentoring skills and is on the faculty of the National Judicial College. Judge Collins was recently honored as the recipient of the 2024 Chief Justice Award for Judicial Excellence by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. Her undergraduate and J.D. degrees were earned at the University of Florida.
